Chairmans Note
the mandate and mission of Philani Maswati continues to be our priority as we stand with the nation in all exercises crafted to flatten the curve. The pandemic cannot dampen our spirit and the desire to help the people as assigned by Her Majesty The Queen Mother – Indlovukazi.
We are hoping to go out to the people even more as the Covid-19 restrictions are being eased. We want to assure everyone that the mission continues and the passion is even more.
Our mandate is to build houses for the homeless, to provide food for those who have none, to give free medical attention to the sickly, and provide burial for those that might be in need. We also have a mandate to build an Old Age Home where the elderlies will be taken care of. These goals are still very much achievable and we want to invite partners to col laborate with us in these goals.
Formed in the early eighties Philani Maswati Charity Or ganization has embarked on numerous resource mobiliza tion initiatives which have raised several Thousand dollars and has, to date, managed to assist over 50, 000 needy elderly/destitute people in the country annually by means of providing:
- Food
- Shelter
- Clothing
- Wheel chairs and other walking aids
- Funeral expenses
- Medical Services
- Tracing services of relatives of the elderly.
- Research activities in support of the elderly.
- Constructing Old Age Homes
- Backyard gardens
- Establishing Tunnel Farming
It is normally said that True generosity is when you give your all, and yet you always feel as if it costs you nothing. Love is not patronizing and charity isn’t about pity, it is about love.
Charity and love are synonyms, with charity you give love, so don’t just give money but reach out your hand instead and touch a soul.
