Project: Building old age homes |
In 2012 the charity started a multi-million project to build the first old age home in the Kingdom of Eswatini. The Chiefdom of Dvokolwako allocated the charity land and construction soon began. Ten housing units and a stand alone kitchen were designed and constructed to house at least 30 elders with plans to construct a fully equipped clinic once the home was complete. Unfortunately, funding has been a challenge and the project is moving slowly. | Donate Donating towards causes that your care about not only benefits the society as a whole but is also deeply rewarding for you. Testimonials I came across Charity Escapes after searching the internet for ideas for auction prizes. I was initially sceptical as I have come across auction sites before that see the charities getting hardly any money after the reserve was met however I was so happy after chatting with Charity Escapes to learn how they work. “Charity Escapes provided Rafiki Thabo Foundation with a live auction lot at our recent Inaugural Gala Dinner, a fabulous 3 nights’ stay at the stunning Marbella Club Spain. “We have worked closely with Charity Escapes for over two years now and it works fantastically well for us. We have used several of their prizes for our auctions at various events and it really helps with the process of sourcing items which can be very difficult and time consuming. “A huge thank you to Charity Escapes for providing a 5 star luxury ski break for our Winter Ball live auction. The whole process has been really easy and straight forward and the team were lovely to deal with. “We were very excited to have Charity Escapes involved with our Courageous Kids Awards. Having a holiday as a top prize for our live auction was fantastic and it so easy to sort out. Within one conversation it was all sorted. |
